Reaching for the Stars

Experience the future of music in this side-by-side concert, where the talented musicians of the Youth Orchestra perform alongside the OSFL professionals. Blending tradition and imagination, featuring Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Rey’s Theme by John Williams. Our 2025 Hertzog Competition Winner, Ashley Park, takes the spotlight with a dazzling violin solo.

Join the Youth Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes

We're now accepting applications to audition for the Youth Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes!

The Youth Orchestra, conducted by Margaret Matthews and Melissa Moore, offers area students an opportunity to be part of a symphonic orchestra (strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and harp) right here locally.

Sing with us in the Chorus of the Southern Finger Lakes

The Chorus of the Southern Finger Lakes is an enthusiastic community of volunteer musicians. All voice parts are invited to join the Chorus in September.

Don't miss your chance to perform alongside the region's premier professional symphony orchestra! The experience has been called "powerful," "life-affirming," and "breathtaking."  Chorus members come back year after year to perform with the region's premier professional symphony orchestra.
