Trio Expressivo!
Friday, October 9 at North Presbyterian Church, Elmira
Travel through a century of musical change with Trio Espressivo!, featuring pianist Grace Cox, violinist Oliver Kriska, and cellist Eric Johnson. Music by Mendelssohn, Chaminade, and Martinů will reveal the surprising connections that endure even as classical music evolves in exciting new directions.
The Pietra Group
Friday, January 15 at The Park Church, Elmira
The Pietra Group turns up the energy with an evening of original jazz fusion created by brothers Joe and Mario Pietra. With piano, bass, guitars, drums, vibes, and percussion, this expanded ensemble promises rich grooves, bold improvisation, and plenty of musical surprises.
Chrystallum
Friday, February 5 in Corning, NY
Inspired by our region’s glassmaking legacy, Chrystallum brings together flute, oboe, bassoon, and piano for an imaginative program spanning centuries and styles. The concert will feature Ad Astra Per Aspera, a work inspired by Elmira native and trailblazing astronaut Eileen Collins, alongside music by William Grant Still and more.
New Beginnings Quartet
Friday, April 2 at 360Aurora, Elmira Heights
A new musical chapter begins as four longtime orchestral colleagues come together for their debut as the New Beginnings Quartet. Featuring flute, violin, viola, and cello, the program will pair music by Mozart and Haydn with a world premiere by Shade Zajac.
Laurentide Brass

Get ready for a bold, brilliant evening as Laurentide Brass fills the stage with the unmistakable energy of five brass instruments. From Shaker melodies and Amazing Grace to Piazzolla’s haunting Oblivion, this wide-ranging program will show just how thrilling — and versatile — brass music can be.
