Based on the true story of composer Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, the illegitimate son of a French plantation owner and an enslaved African woman, who rises to great heights in French society just before the outbreak of the French revolution.

Youth Ensemble Auditions
Sign up now to join the Youth Ensembles in September. Rehearsals have begun, but it's not too late to join. Tuition will be prorated for a late start. Learn more and apply here. Open to strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion. Need based tuition assistance is available.

Hertzog Concerto & Aria Competition
Congratulations to flutist Riley Hubisz, the winner of the 2023 Doreen B. Hertzog Concerto & Aria Competition!
The in-person final round was held on June 3, 2023 with five very talented finalists competing.
Riley will perform with the OSFL in concert on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 4:00. Mark your calendars to hear Otar Gordeli's Concertino for Flute and Orchestra.
