The Magic of Holiday Traditions Together

A favorite community tradition! Bring on the cheer as the Orchestra and Chorus are joined by jazz pianist Christian Li and the Corning Painted Post Choristers. Featuring holiday classics Angels We Have Heard on High, Joy to the World, Sleigh Ride, and more. Avner Finberg’s Dances in Freygish adds a spirited burst of cultural celebration.
Reaching for the Stars

​Clemens Center, Elmira
Experience the future of music in this side-by-side concert, where the talented musicians of the Youth Orchestra perform alongside the OSFL professionals. Blending tradition and imagination, featuring Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Rey’s Theme by John Williams. Our 2025 Hertzog Competition Winner, Ashley Park, takes the spotlight with a dazzling violin solo.
The Creation by Haydn

​The Park Church, Elmira
Experience the awe and majesty of Haydn’s masterpiece, The Creation (in English), a musical journey from chaos to light, brought to life by full orchestra, chorus, and soloists. Inspired by the Book of Genesis and Milton’s Paradise Lost, The Creation is a feast for the senses—and a triumphant celebration of life, nature, and the divine.

From the eerie elegance of Danse Macabre to the haunting beauty of Phantom of the Opera, enjoy iconic scores from stage and screen (Psycho, Harry Potter, E.T.). This concert promises drama, magic, and a hint of spookiness.  Come in costume, if you dare!
