Thanks to all Who Came to our Book Fair!
The OSFL will still get donations if you shop Barnes & Noble online
through the end of the week, September 29.*
The Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes p;artnered with Barnes & Noble for our first ever Book Fair, a day of music, musical activities and books on Saturday, September 23 from 11 AM to 6:00 PM. Here's how it helps the OSFL:
Whatever one bought that day, whether it was books, CDs, a magazine, or a coffee in the cafe, Barnes & Noble donated 10% of every sale to the OSFL
The OSFL had a range of musical activities in the store that day, from a drumming workshop for kids and parents, to a string quartet previewing their November chamber concert, to performances by members of our Junior String Ensemble.
We will have a table there, with information about our upcoming season of concerts, and our various community programs. Join us on September 23 at the Barnes and Noble store at Consumer Square Plaza, 821 County Road 64, Elmira from 11 AM until 6:00 PM.
*If you shop online at www.BN.com between September 23 and 29, and enter our Book Fair ID: 12200150 at checkout, Barnes & Noble will donate 10% of your online purchases, too.
