- December 14 at 2:15 PM in the upper lobby at the Clemens Center, preceding the OSFL "Holiday Traditions Together" Concert
- March 9 at 3:00 PM on stage with the OSFL side by side at the Clemens Center
- May 4 at 2:15 PM for the Star Wars concert pre-show at the Corning Museum of Glass
- May 18 at 4:00 PM YO concert season finale

Previous Concerts
The YPO performed in concert on November 12 at 4:30 at First Presbyterian Church in Horseheads, NY, and on stage with the OSFL for "Side by Side Through the Ages" on March 10, 2024. The final concert of the season will be on May 19 at 4:00 PM. These concerts provide opportunities to thrive as weekly rehearsal prepare students to master the music and execute it with confidence and artistry.
In addition, the YPO regularly performs in the upper lobby at the Clemens Center prior to the OSFL concert in December and an outreach concert at a senior living facility later during the holiday season. Sign up for email notifications for future concerts or follow us on Facebook or Instagram.
Parents and family members are invited to sign up as official volunteers to photograph and video record the November and May concerts for our archive purposes. Due to individual permissions and copyright laws concerning composers and arrangers, unofficial recordings are not permitted. To volunteer in an official capacity, please contact the OSFL office.

22-23 YPO Concerts

The final concert last season was May 21, 2023 at 4:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church in Horseheads, where the group has weekly rehearsals. A reception for the students followed the performance to close out the year.
This concert featured violin soloist, Hayne Webster, graduating senior and concertmaster of the YPO. Prospective students had an opportunity to stay after the concert to meet the conductors and other students. Application forms and instructions are available online. Students may audition now to start in the fall. The first rehearsal will be on September 17, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Read the concert program. |

The Young People's Orchestra had the unique privilege of performing on stage side-by-side with the professional musicians of the OSFL in concert on March 5, 2023 at 4:00 PM. This performance was part of the Clara Schumann Festival held at the Corning Museum of Glass. The 2022 Hertzog Concerto Competition winner, Isabel Metz, performed Mendelssohn's brilliant Violin Concerto in E Minor.
The Young People's Orchestra performed on December 3, 2022 in the Clemens Center lobby right before the OSFL's Holiday Concert. It was a lovely performance with the string students demonstrating their talent with holiday cheer.
The group also performed at Bethany Village in Horseheads on December 18, 2022 to share the music with the senior residents.
